Tonight
I am being criticised for being too drunk. I am cannot speak at the moment, apparently. I can't spell either. There's no room for an average job done on a blog. I thought we did ok, which as far as i'm concerned we did for a load of teenagers. That is all i'm sober enough to say, i'll be back tomorrow with hopefully a sober update.

Writing earlier in the day
I thought I'd give writing earlier in the day ago. The obvious advantage of this is that I'm not tired and might write something interesting. The disadvantage is that the very low crap filter on this blog is slightly higher as I'm not tired and that as we're not even past twelve yet not a lot has happened today.
Luckily I did something yesterday that I forgot to write about. I started a grand reorganisation of all my books, dvds and cds. Which lead me to the conclusion that I have spent far too much on books, dvds and cds in my 19 years. Everything is now ordered alphabetically with only UVWXZ to place on the final shelf for the cds. Before the grand reorganisation everything was just in a bit of a mess. The problem with this organisation means that some books and dvds are right at the back of the cupboard and not particularly easy to access. But that's the way it's going to have to be for the forseeable future. Obvious as soon as I start reading, watching, listening the order will go to pot quicksharp.
That's all from me. I'll be back tomorrow with the interesting things that happened to be today. And a new blog post on Films My Girlfriend Hasn't Seen.

This blog itself
Writing this blog everyday, it has made me realise two things, or one thing that could be split into two things. I am actaully quite dull and it's very difficult to find something interesting to write everyday. The most interesting thing that happened today is that the Edinburgh Fringe program. I've also realised the value of having an actual theme to the blog like the other one which although it is only one post old it still seems a lot easier.
Any my ipod broke. Which means I'd quite like to get an iPhone.
That's all from me, I'll be back with hopefully something interesting tomorrow. Bye.

Being a money grabbing sellout
Hello there internet. Today you gave me another way to try and make money with this blog. It's called amazon associates. I think if i put an amazon lnk to something in this blog and someonebody follows the link and buys it i get some money. Or something like that.
I'll try not to do this too much, but i might put a link after everybook or film I talk about because I'm greedy like that. Actually as I only really talk about books or films that might be quite a lot of money grabbing links. But you'll get used to it eventually, imaginary reader.
I went to my mum's graduation as a teacher today. It was quite good, but it was in Lincoln Minster so naturally a heathen like myself didn't quite fit in.
In other news one of my favourite books, The Book With No Name: A Novel (Probably)
, has been bought to be made into a film by one of the producers of Natural Born Killers (Director's Cut)
. See what I did there? Anyway I'm quite excited about this.
That's all from me. I'll be back tomorrow. Bye.

Not a lot happened today
Hello, I'm updating my blog today from my ipod, that's one of the most interesting thing that has happened today. Not to say that the day has been bad. But I haven't seen or done anything particularly interesting. I bought some smart clothes and nearly bought Gravity's Rainbow by Thomas Pynchton, but I resisted because I already have too much of a backlog of books. It is high on the list though. That's all from me for today, bye.

Talking about books
Today's blog will mainly focus on books, as it's getting near holiday time and i currently have a lot of books. I finished Howard Marks' excellent autobiography Mr Nice last night and also started reading the extremely odd Wasp Factory. In other book news, The Devil's Graveyard Arrived by Anonymous arrived today and it has taken all of my will power not to start it immediatley and save it for holiday, along with the countless other books i have for holiday. The current count, including The Devil's Graveyard but not The Wasp Factory is 9. I probably won't read them all but that's not the point is it.
Tha's about all I have to say today. I'll see you, imagined reader, tomorrow!

I said i'd be back
And i am. Another short one today. As today has nearly finished, so to write a long blog might take us over into tomorrow and therefore ruin any chance of succeeding in getting a consecutive blog going. Regardless of that, it wouldn't count as consecutive anyway as i posted on here last very early this morning.
Now we've got that out of the way, I might be going to the Edinburgh Festival, which I am VERY excited about. Maybe more excited than I am about the other stuff I'm excited about. For example the Dr Who Live, Ross Noble, 9 Lessons and Carols.
Of course with any excitement, there is always disappointment, and this weeks disappointment is that I've not been at Latitude this weekend. I wasn't at Latitude because I had no one to go with and I didn't like the headliners, except for Belle and Sebastian, but that aside I'm annoyed I've missed it.
I did see Inception on Friday though and thought it was an excellent, if very loud, film. Even if Leonardo DiCaprio was playing an almost identical character to his character in Shutter Island. Both were fine films.
One last point if you, the imaginary person reading this blog, haven't yet read my new blog, this one with an actual theme rather than just ramblings, why not do so. The link is on this very page!
